Adan Ruiz brings a pass-first approach and the ability to create his own shot to Christian Brothers. A Class of 2030 point guard currently playing on JV, Ruiz is focused on developing his game and contributing to the school’s winning tradition.
His basketball journey began with three years at Team Touch, followed by time with the Oakland Soldiers and Sac Gaels before arriving at Christian Brothers. Those experiences helped shape a guard who takes pride in creating opportunities for teammates while knowing when to find his own basket.
One of his most meaningful accomplishments came during his final year at Natomas Charter. After losing the middle school championship by one point the previous season, Ruiz helped lead his team to an overtime championship victory.
Ruiz also draws motivation from the memory of Jaden de Jesus, whose passing holds personal significance in his basketball journey.
As he begins his high school career, Ruiz’s goals are clear: keep improving, help his teammates succeed, and contribute to the tradition at Christian Brothers.
