At Destiny Christian Academy, freshman Tanner Schuller is already making an impact on the football field while keeping his sights set on much bigger goals.
A member of the Class of 2030, Schuller stands 5’8” and weighs 150 pounds. Playing wide receiver, slot receiver, and free safety, the versatile young athlete has recorded 5 touchdowns and 239 receiving yards through Week 5, establishing himself as a promising contributor to the Lions’ football program.
For Schuller, however, his early success is only the beginning. His immediate goal is to become a varsity starter next year, with bigger dreams of playing college football and eventually reaching the NFL.
Behind those ambitions is a foundation built on faith, family, and a desire to continuously improve. Schuller draws motivation from the people closest to him and his determination to prove what he is capable of accomplishing.
“I’m motivated by my faith, family, and my desire to keep improving and prove what I’m capable of,” Schuller shared.
Despite his early production, he understands that reaching the next level will require dedication, patience, and consistent effort.
“I know I still have a lot to learn, but I’m going to keep putting in the work and chasing my goals,” he said.
Beyond touchdowns and receiving yards, Schuller wants to build a reputation as a dependable teammate who gives his best effort every time he steps onto the field. His commitment to hard work and willingness to learn reflect the mentality he hopes will carry him throughout his football career.
Proud to represent both Destiny Christian Academy and Sacramento, Schuller is determined to make the most of every opportunity ahead.
For Tanner Schuller, the goals are ambitious, the motivation is personal, and the work is just getting started.
