Damian Bruno is beginning his high school football career with varsity experience, college offers and ambitious goals. The Destiny Christian Academy freshman is embracing an early opportunity to compete while keeping his sights on what he hopes to accomplish next.
A member of the Class of 2030, Bruno plays safety and nickel. Through three varsity games, he has recorded six tackles, one tackle for loss and one interception, putting his name on the stat sheet as he gains experience in the secondary.
Bruno already holds offers from Sacramento State and Cal Berkeley. His goals are clear: earn freshman All-Metro recognition, reach five Division I offers and help Destiny Christian Academy win a state championship. Those ambitions give him something to work toward throughout his high school career, with both individual development and team success in mind.
Behind that drive is his family, especially his older brother and father. Their encouragement pushes him to pursue greatness and keep working. For Bruno, their support is a constant source of motivation as he takes on the challenges of varsity football.
Three games represent an early chapter in a much longer journey. Bruno has already made contributions on the field and earned two college offers, but his focus remains on improving and building toward the goals ahead. His mindset is simple: he is just getting started.
