For Dylan Amos, last season’s ending has become motivation for what comes next.
The Twelve Bridges High School wide receiver, a member of the Class of 2027, is coming off a productive season in which he recorded 734 receiving yards and eight touchdowns, establishing himself as a significant part of the offense.
Amos also made school history in an unconventional way for a wide receiver. Given the opportunity to throw the football, he delivered an 89-yard touchdown pass the longest in Twelve Bridges history.
But his strongest motivation comes from a moment he would rather not repeat.
Twelve Bridges saw its playoff run end in the semifinals last season, leaving Amos with a lasting reminder of how close his team came to advancing. Rather than dwelling on the loss, he has used it as motivation to continue improving and prepare for another opportunity.
With proven production, big-play ability and the experience of a deep postseason run behind him, Amos enters the next stage of his high school career with added purpose. The numbers have already shown what he can contribute. Now, the Twelve Bridges receiver is focused on helping his team take the next step.
