For Everett Klockenbrink, faith and family are at the heart of his football journey. The Folsom High School sophomore points to both as his biggest sources of motivation as he works toward a clear goal: playing college football.
A member of the Class of 2029, Klockenbrink plays middle linebacker, a position that demands awareness, communication and the ability to react quickly. The middle of the defense puts a player close to the action, with responsibilities against both the run and the pass.
With much of his high school career still ahead, Klockenbrink has an opportunity to build toward his college ambitions. Each season offers another chance to gain experience and develop the skills the next level requires.
His goal looks toward the future, but his motivation starts with what matters to him now. For Klockenbrink, faith, family and football are closely connected and they give his journey a purpose beyond the field.
