Christian Brothers High School standout Rob Beverly III is establishing himself as a difference-maker on both sides of the football. The Class of 2028 wide receiver and defensive back has combined consistent production with a strong competitive mindset, helping make an impact whenever his number is called.
Through the season so far, Beverly has recorded 27 receptions for 328 yards and four touchdowns. One of his biggest moments came against Rio Americano, when he hauled in a game-winning touchdown as time expired. Defensively, he has added more than 30 tackles, eight pass breakups and one interception, showing his ability to contribute well beyond the offensive side of the ball.
While Beverly has ambitious goals for his football future, his motivation extends far beyond statistics. He hopes to continue his career at the college level and compete at a high level, but he credits his faith in God as the foundation behind his growth both as an athlete and as a person.
Beverly said continuing to strengthen his relationship with God motivates him to become better every day. He also hopes his journey can encourage people who may not have had the opportunity to grow close to the Lord, using his platform to show others the impact faith has had on his life.
Football has also taught Beverly valuable lessons about perseverance. Through challenges and adversity, he believes his faith has remained a constant source of strength and direction.
As Beverly continues developing at Christian Brothers, his combination of two-way production, resilience and faith is helping shape a promising path toward his goal of playing college football.
