For Jacob Brennan, football is driven by more than what happens on the field. The El Dorado High School junior draws motivation from his mother, his friends and a faith he wants to keep at the center of his life.
A middle linebacker in the Class of 2028, Brennan hopes to continue playing football at a junior college after high school. That goal gives him something to work toward as he pushes himself to improve and prepares for the next chapter.
Brennan is also thinking about a future beyond the game. If continuing his football career does not work out, he wants to become an electrician. While football remains his ambition, he recognizes another path he would be interested in pursuing.
Behind his drive is the support of the people closest to him. Brennan credits his loving mother and the friends around him with helping him keep going and encouraging him to push harder every day. Their presence gives him motivation as he works toward his goals.
Above all, Brennan wants others to understand the importance of his faith. He believes God is the way to a beautiful life and emphasizes keeping God at the center of everything. As he looks toward the rest of his high school career and the opportunities ahead, that belief remains his foundation.
