Four-Star Standout Andre Gomez Leading Grant High School
Sacramento has produced a long list of talented basketball players over the years, and Andre Gomez continues that tradition.
The 2026 four-star prospect has emerged as one of the top players in the 916, anchoring Grant High School with a blend of leadership, athleticism, and offensive versatility. As a senior, Gomez has taken on the role of both producer and tone-setter for the program.
Standing out as a three-level scorer, Gomez has the ability to impact the game in multiple ways offensively. He can attack the rim with strength and athleticism, create his own shot off the dribble, and stretch defenses with perimeter scoring. That versatility makes him difficult to contain and allows him to adapt to different defensive looks.
Beyond the scoring ability, Gomez’s presence as a leader has become one of the defining aspects of his game. Teammates and coaches alike point to his maturity and composure on the floor, qualities that often separate experienced upperclassmen from younger players still developing their roles.
Athletes who combine skill with leadership often become the centerpiece of successful high school programs. For Grant High School, Gomez has filled that role while continuing to develop as one of the region’s top prospects.
As he prepares for the next chapter of his basketball career, the foundation he has built at Grant positions him well for the college level and beyond.
