Four-Year Starter Jake Shipley Leading Laguna Creek’s Division I Title Push.
Laguna Creek senior Jake Shipley has established himself as one of the top outside hitters in the Sac-Joaquin Section, and as his final high school season continues, the Cardinals are aiming for a deep postseason run.
A four-year starter for Laguna Creek, Shipley has been a consistent force on the court throughout his high school career. His experience, leadership, and production have helped elevate the Cardinals into one of the teams to watch this season as they pursue a Division I section title.
“The goal is to go as far as we can in the post-season, enjoy the senior season, and glorify Jesus,” Shipley said. “I’m so grateful to be with this team and for the memories we’re making.”
Shipley’s impact goes beyond his ability to score points as an outside hitter. His presence on the court and familiarity with the program have made him a key leader for Laguna Creek, especially with the postseason approaching.
His performances have not gone unnoticed. Shipley has already earned First-Team All-Sac-Joaquin Section honors and has emerged as a strong contender for Section Player of the Year, further solidifying his place among the top volleyball players in the region.
With the Cardinals building momentum and the postseason on the horizon, Shipley’s leadership and play will be critical as Laguna Creek looks to make a serious run at the Division I title.
For Shipley, the mission is simple... enjoy the final season, compete at the highest level, and leave a lasting mark on the Laguna Creek program.
