Lemoti Finau, a junior at Destiny Christian Academy, is the kind of lineman every coach wants: versatile, driven and willing to play wherever the team needs him. He’s also aiming high, with his sights set on the NFL’s career sack record.
Finau comes to Destiny Christian from River City High School in West Sacramento. He is sitting out for now and is expected to return in time for the Antelope game, just ahead of the Lions’ big matchup with Grant.
Once he’s cleared, Finau gives the Lions plenty of flexibility up front. On offense, he mainly lines up at right guard, right tackle and left guard. On defense, he anchors the middle at nose guard.
