NorCal Football Power Rankings: Top 6 Teams of the Season
Northern California high school football once again showcased elite competition this season, with several powerhouse programs separating themselves from the pack.
Based on overall performance, record, and consistency throughout the year, these six programs stood out as the top teams in the region.
#1 De La Salle High School
Record: 12–0
De La Salle sits at the top of the NorCal rankings after an undefeated season. The Spartans continued their long-standing tradition of excellence, combining disciplined defense with efficient offensive play to remain one of the most dominant programs in California high school football.
#2 Folsom High School
Record: 12–1
Folsom once again proved why it remains one of Northern California’s premier programs. Known for its explosive offense and ability to develop Division I talent, the Bulldogs put together another outstanding season, finishing with just one loss.
#3 Archbishop Riordan High School
Record: 12–0
Riordan completed a perfect season, establishing itself as one of the top programs in the region. Their balance of physical defense and consistent offensive production helped them remain undefeated throughout the year.
#4 Pittsburg High School
Record: 11–2
Pittsburg continued its strong tradition of competitive football with an impressive 11-win season. The Pirates remained a tough matchup week after week and demonstrated their ability to compete against some of the region’s strongest programs.
#5 Junípero Serra High School
Record: 8–5
Serra faced one of the most difficult schedules in Northern California but still managed to remain among the region’s top teams. Their physical style of play and experience against elite competition kept them firmly in the rankings.
#6 St. Mary’s High School
Record: 11–2
St. Mary’s rounds out the top six after a strong season highlighted by consistent performances on both sides of the ball. The Rams once again demonstrated the depth and talent that have made them a respected program in Northern California.
